Jenelle Taylor leads a life of passionate education and service to others.

During college, she taught English in Japan for nearly two years and taught Japanese to American children for three summers.  After earning a Bachelor of Science in Secondary English Education, Jenelle taught on the edge of Arizona’s Navajo reservation for two years, followed by five years leading the high school and middle school English departments of the groundbreaking Horizon Community Learning Center in Phoenix.  For five of those seven years, she also coached the dance teams!

Seeking a new challenge, in 2001-2002 Jenelle traveled the Mediterranean and Caribbean as an Art Gallery Auctioneer for Carnival Cruise Lines and Holland America.  Competing with other exciting onboard activities demanded a style of auctioneering which is one part education and two parts entertaining the audience.  These skills transfer beautifully to fundraising auctions, where Jenelle serves as both ambassador and entertainer while encouraging generous bidding.

From 2002-2007, Jenelle served as the Vice President and Ethics Officer for Society Benefits, Inc. (www.SocietyBenefits.com) In addition to managing the financial and organizational aspects of that corporation, Jenelle was the full-time Auction Designer.  She has personally provided unlimited consultation and event solutions for over 100 diverse fundraising auctions to date.  Society Benefits assisted in raising nearly $8 million dollars for worthy causes in just a few short years.  In addition, the company earned the Greater Orlando Business Ethics Award (GOBEA) in 2005 for its pioneering promotion of the buyer’s premium to offer award-winning auction services to organizations with no out-of-pocket cost.

Moreover, in 2006 Jenelle Taylor, BAS, authored the first comprehensive Benefit Auction curriculum in the United States, the “Get More Benefits” series.  This book series is the recognized gold standard in Auctioneer Education resources, and has been widely praised by industry peers.  In 2007, GALA GAL Jenelle is set to unveil two new books for Benefit Auctioneer Education, as well as completely updated versions of four previous titles. The formation of GALA GAL, Inc. also allows Ms. Taylor to mentor other auctioneers, offer customized seminars, and thus impact exponentially more charitable organizations nationwide.

Currently, Ms. Taylor is thrilled to debut a revolutionary service for those organizations and auctioneers seeking to conduct Benefit Auctions.  The first and only website of its kind, www.AuctionMatchMaker.com introduces worthy causes across America to the elite group of Auctioneers experienced specifically in fundraising. With two partner sites, www.CharityAuctionMatch.com and www.BenefitAuctionMatch.com, GALA GAL Jenelle has created a virtual venue for charities to find suitably talented auctioneers and Benefit Auctioneers to court more clients, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
